Through its various operations, AIU provides quality commercial and consumer insurance services throughout Europe, Latin America, Africa, Japan and Korea, Australasia, north Asia, south-east Asia, and mainland China (including Shanghai，Guangdong Province and city of Shenzhen), Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan etc. including Property, Marine, Casualty and A&H coverage for both large and small enterprises as well as households. AIU’s culture of disciplined underwriting and product innovation has provided a long-standing competitive advantage since general insurance operations were established in Shanghai in 1992 as the first foreign insurance operation in China.
