Responsibilities:Provide total service to assigned distributors which includes securing orders for products, investigating customer requirements for product applications, resolving problems, and providing technical interface between customer and technical personnel. Recruit, develop and train industry related partners, and resellers. Handle all sales activities including specification writing, prospecting, pre-sales promotion, proposal coordination, contract/sales order preparation, negotiations, and closing. Prepares sales forecasts and closes business in accordance with forecast and achieve assigned annual sales quota. Develops and initiates contacts potential customers. Coordinate visits of company personnel with customers for orientation, consultation, and training. Identify opportunities and resources required to accelerate business volumes. Make formal sales presentations and arrange product demonstrations at customer site, distributor site facility in China. Coordinate the involvement of appropriate sales support personnel (e.g., sales management, technical support, services sales and management, solution architects). Consult with sales management on account issues, e.g. special pricing/discounting, territorial splits, and the need for additional sales/technical support. Develop sales strategies, materials, and proposals and manage sales pipeline.Represent the company at industry conferences and trade show events with distributor or independently. Responsible for development and management of major accounts including government agencies. Thoroughly understand and significantly influence the customer's decision-making process and lead the customer to positive decisions on sales proposals. On an ongoing basis, provide information concerning competitive marketing/sales strategies. Qualification:BA/BS degree required in marketing or technical field or equivalent experience. Best fit candidate will have extensive direct and channel experience selling analytical solutions (e.g., NIR, FTIR, Raman) like chemical, biological, and radiological equipment into vertical markets including SFDA and Provincial FDAs and have an extensive contacts in these markets. Highly skilled in developing new accounts, and handling all aspects of customer relationship management activities, including territory planning, prospecting, presentations, proposals, contract negotiations and closing in a partner-centric sales model. 6+ years direct business to business sales experience to National and Municipal Governments, and Pharmaceutical industry Proven record of significant quota based sales experienceSignificant travel throughout the ChinaKnowledge of Spectroscopy (e.g., NIR, FTIR, Raman) and Chemical drugsOutstanding communication, presentation and customer service skillOutstanding telemarketing/cold calling skillsFluent in verbal and written Chinese (Mandarin) and English
